The Component Data Module contains the elements necessary to build components. Components as defined in Machine Train Calculator are the individual elements of a machine train. Examples of components are:
The idea behind this approach is to define a component only once and then use it in as many different machines as required. For example, the same make and model of a 20 hp motor may be used to drive a number of different machines, defining the motor only once saves a great deal of time over having to define it each time it is used.
